For Art Basel Miami Beach 2025, Jane Lombard Gallery presents a multigenerational group presentation that draws from a socio-political and global discourse. Featuring works by Margarita Cabrera, James Clar, Squeak Carnwath, Mounir Fatmi, LuYang, Azita Moradkhani, Michael Rakowitz, Howard Smith, and Allan Wexler, the presentation reflects the gallery’s 30-year commitment to showcasing artists whose work resonates with pressing cultural, social, and political issues of our time. The works on view investigate intersections of technology and tradition, as well as culture and heritage. Featured in the Kabinett section of the booth is LuYang’s lightbox series adapted from the film Doku the Self, which was presented in the 59th Venice Biennale. The artist merges technology, pop culture, and belief systems to question gender, identity, and perception.
